Lodz - an industrial city built from the ground up as a textile manufacturing hub, where old factory buildings, now past their industrial splendor, get a new life. National Film School in Lodz (Państwowa Wyższa Szkoła Filmowa, Telewizyjna i Teatralna w Łodzi) with famous graduates such as: Roman Polanski (director) and Andrzej Wajda (director).
